Program Overview
Our LEAP Program helps make the transition from high school to university a little easier for women and non-binary people hoping to pursue studies in engineering and information technology at Carleton University.
Every year, exceptional prospective women and non-binary students are invited to discover more about their program of choice, connect with other applicants, hear from current students and alumni and view our campus and labs.
“The LEAP program is a great first step in your engineering journey at Carleton. The facilitators provide a safe and welcoming environment to ask questions and discover what Carleton is all about. Engineering is a tough program, so learning about the different resources available to you and meeting potential classmates helps you know that you are not alone, and that there is support available every step of the way.”
