P9 Greenspace Design Competition

Reimagine Your Campus. Shape the Student Experience.

Planning, Design and Construction (PDC) within the Facilities Management and Planning (FMP) team invites students to help reimagine an under-utilized area of campus as a vibrant hub for community life. This design competition challenges our campus community to envision a flexible, welcoming, and culturally respectful outdoor space that fosters student well-being, curiosity, and connection.

Participants are encouraged to explore how thoughtful design can enhance the daily experience of the
Carleton community, creating a place to gather, reflect, engage, and celebrate our shared campus
culture.

You represent and warrant that the design is solely your own original work.
You grant Carleton University a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, modify, adapt, copy, distribute, publish, and communicate your design.
You grant Carleton University permission to publish your name(s) and likeness(es) in association with your design.
Carleton University will have sole discretion as to whether and how to construct your design. You may be consulted concerning the implementation and construction of your design, and/or any changes to your design.
Carleton University’s judgements and decisions with respect to the contest are final and not subject to appeal.
