Rae Landriau is a MSc. student studying the egress of contaminants from drilling waste disposal sites in the Mackenzie Delta, Northwest Territories, with supervision from Dr. Chris Burn. Rae’s work is in collaboration with the Geological Survey of the Northwest Territories (Tim Ensom), the Inuvialuit Land Administration (Charles Klengenberg) and the sumps technical working group. Rae is grateful for support from the Aurora Research Institute, Polar Shelf Continental Project, Northern Scientific Training Program and NSERC PermafrostNet which have been vital to making this project possible.
