Bella Johnston

VP Communications

Bella Johnston holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University. During her undergraduate studies, she developed a strong interest in antimicrobial resistance while conducting research with the company CARB-X. She is now continuing to explore this topic as an MSc candidate in the Overhage Lab, investigating hypochlorous acid-mediated resistance in the priority pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Outside of the lab, she enjoys biking, crafting, and hanging out with friends.
