Madison Adams

Co-President

Madison completed her BHSc with a Concentration in Biomedical Sciences and a Minor in Biology at Carleton University in 2023. Under the supervision of Dr. Joerg Overhage, her doctoral research examines how the bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa responds to reactive chlorine species, including hypochlorous acid (HOCl)—the main antimicrobial compound in household bleach and a part of the body’s immune response to infection. Outside of the lab, Madison enjoys staying active, trying new restaurants, and watching movies. She is also a big fan of Survivor and Formula 1!
