Books by Deborah Gorham and Charlotte Gray are 2017 Ottawa Book Award Finalists

The History Department is happy to announce that Distinguished Research Professor Deborah Gorham and Adjunct Research Professor Charlotte Gray are both finalists in the English Non-Fiction category for the 2017 Ottawa Book Awards for the following titles:

• Deborah Gorham, Marion Dewar: A Life of Action (Second Story Press)
• Charlotte Gray, The Promise of Canada: 150 Years – People and Ideas That Have Shaped our Country (Simon & Schuster Canada)

These awards recognize the top English and French books published in the past year by local authors. The full list of 15 finalists from Ottawa’s thriving literary community can be found online.
