What began as a student/faculty ID card can now be used across campus for making purchases (food, books), for printing /copying materials, for securing door access and to facilitate the needs of Tourism and Conferencing Services staff and participants. In addition, the Campus Card can now be used for CUOL (Carleton University On-Line) Video on Demand and at Pay and Display parking terminals.
These two newest in house-developed Campus Card applications, implemented late November, have been very successful.
Campus Card payments for parking (the number one request in a recent Campus Card survey) is now offered at 32 Pay and Display terminals.
Students off campus can now use their Campus Card to pay for Video on Demand and are no longer subjected to a minimum charge, as was the case when paying on their VISA/Mastercard for access to remote class video.
