ITS worked to develop its digital workplace strategy throughout 2023-2024, with several transformative initiatives powered by Microsoft 365 tools under way.
Automation of recurring internal processes is being built through Power Automate, while self-serve business intelligence through Power BI is poised to speed up internal reporting procedures.
Meanwhile, artificial intelligence is positioned to unlock vast workplace potential as internal groups pilot Copilot for Microsoft 365.
Unlocking Vast Workplace Potential
Copilot promises to help generate documents in Word, design presentations in PowerPoint, analyze trends in Excel, write code in GitHub and much more.
“Copilot has tremendous capability to increase productivity by drafting email, documents and plans; in the design and production of presentations in PowerPoint, in analysis, automated macros, and forecasting in Excel, and by writing code in GitHub,” said Valerie Turner, Chief Information Officer. “We are collaborating with our colleagues across the university to ensure a harmonized approach and to ensure we derive the maximum benefit from these transformational tools.”
