Martin Manolov, a PhD candidate in the Department of Law and Legal Studies, was recently awarded an Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS). OGS are awarded annually to full-time graduate students at the master’s or doctoral level and range from $5,000 per term up to a maximum of $15,000.

For his PhD work, Manolov proposes to examine the impact of the EU integration and enlargement process on public and private policing in candidate countries. Supervised by Dr. George Rigakos, Martin will rely on pacification theory as it has been developed under the framework of Anti-Security.
