Congratulations to Prof. Stacy Douglas, one of three recipients of the FPA Teaching Excellence Awards that were celebrated on Tuesday, April 7th, 2015.
In her acceptance speech, Prof. Douglas spoke of her teaching style and the way in which it emphasizes learning together with her students. She also highlighted some of the recent unorthodox learning activities she has introduced into the classroom.
The Faculty of Public Affairs Teaching Excellence Award recognizes two full-time faculty members and one contract instructor for merit in the areas of curricular development, commitment to student advising and engagement, teaching evaluations, curriculum and classroom innovation, and consistency in teaching excellence.
