Following the launch of its 50th Anniversary, the Department of Law and Legal Studies is pleased to announce a special campaign to raise scholarship funds in commemoration of this important milestone year.
Through the Law and Legal Studies 50th Anniversary Scholarship, the Department hopes to raise $5,000, which will be awarded at $1000 per annum over five years, to a deserving undergraduate student proceeding from one year of study at Carleton University to the next. Candidacy for the scholarship will be determined and evaluated based on level of academic standing, commitment to education and advances in research, and involvement in co-curricular activities.
The Department welcomes individual contributions and donations made on behalf of businesses and organizations who wish to celebrate 50 years of excellence in legal studies. The scholarship provides much-needed financial support that will allow bright and deserving law and legal studies students to flourish at a critical moment in their undergraduate careers.
