This Strategic Impact Group focused on improving the campus environment in the face of aging infrastructure, a limited sense of ownership among faculty, staff and students at Carleton, and a desire to create a sustainable campus.  We focused on a “doable” project that would facilitate participants developing a sense of community and a sense of ownership over their physical space.  This project appealed to us because we felt it would be impactful yet low cost and, through community engagement, sustainable into the future.  We spent our time consulting with a wide range of stakeholders to leverage broad support for the project.
