Invitation: Patrick Cardy Studio

Dear Friends of Carleton Music,

You are cordially invited to the official opening of the Patrick Cardy Studio on Saturday, October 4th, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Loeb A900 !

During his 30 years at Carleton University, Patrick Cardy spent countless hours teaching in Loeb A900, a teaching and performance space better known to Carleton music students and faculty as “Studio A.”  According to his family, closest friends and colleagues, nothing would have pleased Dr. Cardy more than the knowledge that Carleton’s music students and program might benefit from a newly refurbished teaching and recital space that had been funded and named in his honour.

Our ribbon-cutting ceremony and dedication will include a brief musical presentation by Carleton students, alumni and faculty, followed by a wine & cheese reception. For directions to Loeb 9, see http://carleton.ca/music/location-and-directions/.
