From front woman to background vocalist, Lisa has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with incredible artists such as Sonata Arctica, Honeymoon Suite, April Wine, Red Handed Denial, David Wilcox, Unleash The Archers, The Agonist, Amorphis, Alestorm, Primal Fear and many more. Lisa is currently the front woman for Canadian Metal band, Sovereign Council.
With a foundation of Classical, Jazz and contemporary training, Lisa started vocal coaching back in 2003 at The Ottawa Vocal & Instrumental School of Music. After five years of employment at the school she started her own private vocal coaching business out of her home studio. Since then, she has built her brand preparing vocalist for live performances, tour and studio work by identifying vocal challenges, correcting bad habits and teaching a solid foundation of healthy vocal techniques. Becoming a touring musician, recording artist, or session vocalist requires a high level of discipline and proper preparation for the long hours and sometimes extensive use of the voice. Lisa uses her experience as a touring musician and session vocalist to physically and mentally prepare her students in a fun and supportive environment.
In 2018 Lisa partnered up with Joe Lyko owner of Dark Moon Productions, a multimedia company based out of Ottawa. Dark Moon offers a wide range of services to emerging bands and artists in all genres from studio recording, producing, mixing/mastering, music video production, artist promo photography and artist development.
