Meghan Heeney is a teacher with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. She holds a B.Ed (Music) from McGill University and a BMus from Carleton University, where she studied saxophone and jazz studies with Mike Tremblay. She has worked as an administrator for the Carleton Jazz Camp since 2013 and now serves as the camp’s Administrative Director. Recently, Meghan directed a senior saxophone ensemble in the Arts program at Canterbury High School, and also facilitated workshops for the Arts SHSM (Specialist High Skills Major) Program at Canterbury.
