Sara Beth Lyons

MA Student

Sara Beth Lyons is a first-year MA student in the Music and Culture program. Hailing from Chicago, she completed her Bachelors of Music degree in Trumpet and Anthropology at the University of Iowa. Sara Beth’s research interests include gendered performance in musical performance spaces and community accessibility to arts and art research. When not studying at Carleton, Sara Beth can be found climbing any number of rocks, both inside and outside, and fuelling the fire of her intense passion for colorful clothing.
