Carleton cycling team helped raise $80,000 to support local Parkinson’s research!

“This year the Parkinson Research Consortium (PRC) held its first annual Lap the Gats for Parkinson’s Fundraising event in May 2014! This event successfully brought out 216 cyclists and raised over $80,000 in support of local Parkinson’s disease research. Ottawa-area residents and PRC members from the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, the University of Ottawa and Carleton University all came out to make this event a great success! Many thanks to all of our participants and see you next year!”
