With pride, the Department celebrates Jerzy Kulczycki

Dr. Jerzy Kulczycki has been a researcher in the Department of Neuroscience for over 20 years, and it is with great pride we announce Dr. Kulczycki’s most recent award:

At the May 3rd Constitution day and 70th anniversary of the end of WWII, on behalf of President of the Republic of Poland, the Ambassador of Poland Awarded Dr. Jerzy Kulczycki with the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Merit.

Dr. Kulczycki, who is in the Department of Neuroscience, was awarded the medal in connection to his Solidarity movement activities in the 1980s and as the President of the Ottawa branch of the Polish Combatants Association in Canada as well as in recognition of his activity in the service of the Polish diaspora in Canada.
