Biography
I completed my degree in B.Sc. Neuroscience and Mental Health (Honours) with a minor in Psychology in February 2016. During my time there, Carleton Neuroscience gave me the opportunity to gain extensive research experience and enhance my analytical skills, which I was able to apply in my post-grad position as a research analyst.
I give thanks to my thesis supervisor, Dr. Alfonso Abizaid, whose lab I began volunteering in since the first year of my undergraduate degree. It was there that I had the chance to really experience how the research field worked and get exposure to up and coming graduate research. Thanks to the mentorship of Dr. Abizaid and the support of all my Neuroscience professors and the amazing administrative staff, I got the chance to tap into my true potential and gain applicable skills that I can now use to my advantage in the professional field.
