Biography

After my undergraduate degree, I pursued an MSc in Neuroscience at Carleton under the supervision of Dr. Natalina Salmaso. I joined the Salmaso lab early in my undergrad and in my 4th year worked on my honours thesis project. I completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences at Carleton in spring 2020. I am super passionate about learning more about sex differences, neuroimmunology, disease related research, and I hope to pursue a career in the medical field. I love reading, volunteering with kids, making origami decorations and baking (and finding baking substitutions for my dairy allergy!).

Advice for Current Students

One piece of advice I have for undergraduate students is to find your balance between all commitments while giving importance and time to the things you are interested in/care about! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about anything from university, medicine, to research or careers!
