Biography

Kay completed their undergraduate degree at Carleton University, double majoring in History and Philosophy and minoring in Political Science. Their current research into what role video games might play in the meaning of life of contemporary digital communities is an expression of their interest in the kinds of philosophy that take place beyond the walls of the academy and in the everyday lives of everyone who has wondered at some point what it means to live well in a global circumstance that seems to indicate it might not be possible to do so at all.
