The Department of Political Science is organizing a panel session “From Research to Publication: Strategic Approaches for Graduate Students” discussing how to navigate the publication process successfully as graduate students.
This panel brings together experienced faculty members and library specialists to guide you through the publication journey. The panel will address the fundamentals of academic publishing, addressing issues such as selecting the right journals for your work, crafting competitive manuscripts, handling peer reviews, and responding effectively to reviewer feedback. Students will also get information about library resources and support services to aid the process.
Our panelists include Prof. William Cross, Prof. Erin Tolley, Prof. Randal Germain, and Ms. Pat Moore.
The session will conclude with a moderated question-and-answer period, allowing for specific inquiries related to your research publications.
This session is particularly recommended for graduate students who are preparing manuscripts or planning to submit their research for publication.
Please encourage your students to attend the same.
