Guest Speaker: Sabelo J Ndlovu-Gatsheni (University of Bayreuth, Germany), Professor and Chair of Epistemologies of the Global South with Emphasis on Africa
As part of the Knowing Africa Series, Carleton’s Institute of African Studies is hosting Dr. Ndlovu-Gatsheni who will be speaking on “The Politics of Knowledge and the Imperative of Decolonization in Africa”. The event will be moderated by Shireen Hassim, Canada 150 Research Chair in Gender and African Politics and Professor of African Studies while Professor Daniel McNeil of the History Department, Carleton University will be a discussant.
