Jerrett Clark is President of CUPE 2424, a Union representing roughly 1000 administrative, technical, library, athletics, and health and counseling staff at Carleton University. Jerrett is a two-time graduate from Carleton and a longstanding employee of 25 years. He was first elected as CUPE 2424 President in 2017 and became a member of the Work and Labour advisory board in 2020.
Jerrett and a team of 50 active Union volunteers work to advance the rights, benefits, and protections of their members, while also participating in the broader labour movement toward greater social justice, equity, and equality in the Canadian workforce and society.
CUPE 2424 has been helping members navigate their changing world of work throughout the pandemic and with lessons learned, is taking a forward-looking approach to negotiations and employer relations that will continue changing the work of their members for the better, well into the future.
