Diploma in Work and Labour Program Requirements
The Diploma program is a 2.5 credit program (5 courses). Students can enroll in the program as full-time or part-time. A student studying full-time typically takes one year (2-3 terms) to complete the program and part-time students will typically take two – three years to complete.
Note: a one-semester seminar is usually valued at one-half (.5) credit.
All Diploma students enrolled in the Institute are required to take PECO 5002 [0.5 credit] Political Economy of Work and Labour (offered in Summer and Fall). All elective courses must be approved by IPE in order to count towards the program.
All Diploma students must maintain at least a B average (8.0 GPA).
