Applications Open for the Carleton University Achievement Awards Competition
We are pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the Carleton University Achievement Awards. We invite you to review the competition information and apply as appropriate. Application deadlines range from Oct. 31 to Dec. 20, 2026.
Applications Due October 31, 2026
- Five Research Achievement Awards ($15,000 each) are available to recognize exceptional research accomplishments.
- Five Research Awards ($15,000 each) are available to support and enhance research productivity through seed funding.
- Five Teaching Awards ($15,000 each) are available to support innovative and impactful teaching practices.
Applications Due November 20, 2026
- Five Contract Instructor Teaching Awards ($2,000 each) are available to honour excellence in teaching.
- Two Contract Instructor Teaching Innovation Grants ($6,000 each) are available to support creative approaches to student learning and pedagogy.
Applications Due December 20, 2026
- Five Professional Achievement Awards for Faculty, Teaching Stream ($10,000 each) are available to recognize outstanding performance in teaching and service.
- Two Professional Achievement Awards for Professional Librarians ($10,000 each) are available to celebrate outstanding professional contributions.
