November is recognized provincially as Woman Abuse Prevention month. The Campus Safety Services joins community partners to raise awareness of Violence Against Women.
Violence against women affects our entire community and we all have a role to play in ending it. In Canada, over a quarter women have report being assaulted by a domestic partner. Unfortunately this statistics are even higher for women under 25 years of age.
