August 6th 2013 – For immediate release
On August 3rd, 2013, the Campus Safety Services received two reports of theft from the Physical Recreation Centre’s change rooms. The first report was from the female’s change room. An individual advised that they had placed their belongings into an unsecured locker. Upon return to the locker, belongings including a credit card were missing. There was an attempt to use the credit card shortly after the theft. The theft is believed to have occurred between 11:45AM and 1:30PM.
The second report was from the Physical Recreation Centre alternate needs family change room. An individual advised that they had placed their belongings into a secured locker. Upon return to the locker, the belongings were missing. The theft is believed to have occurred between 1:35PM and 2:54PM.
Copies of both reports were forwarded to Ottawa Police and investigations are on-going.
