On Oct. 28, 2013, the Campus Safety Services received a report of a theft from Dunton Tower. An individual advised that her bag had been stolen from an unsecured private room on the fifth level of Dunton Tower. The individuals bag was later found off-campus. When the bag was returned, it was discovered that several items had been removed from the bag. The theft is believed to have occurred between 12 p.m. and 1:45 p.m.
The investigation is on-going and a copy of the report was forwarded to the Ottawa Police Service.
The Campus Safety Services reminds all community members to lock their doors when away from their offices and never leave valuables unattended.
