The Ottawa Police Service has issued a news release regarding a recent “rash of thefts in vehicles” in the Ottawa area. The suspects are gaining entry through unlocked car doors or by breaking windows. Although the thefts are occurring across the city, half of the reports have occurred in the downtown area.
