CSS Special Constables and Communication Centre Operator Honoured with Life-Saving Award

Campus Safety Services is proud to announce that members of its team have been recognized with a prestigious Life-Saving Award from St. John Ambulance, following their heroic actions during a medical emergency on campus in May 2025.
As the first responders on the scene, the Special Constables immediately initiated CPR and deployed an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) from their patrol vehicle. Their rapid and professional response was instrumental in reviving the individual. The incident also highlighted the vital role of the Communication Centre Operator, who coordinated the emergency response and ensured timely support from external emergency services.

This award is a testament to the dedication, training, and teamwork of our Campus Safety Services personnel. Their actions exemplify the highest standards of public safety and community care.
