Personal Safety Plan
What’s a Personal Safety Plan?

It’s always good to be prepared. Having a personal safety plan equips you with the tools to approach daily activities through a safety lens. These are suggestions and do not guarantee safety.
Plans include but are not limited to the following situations:
- Intimate partner violence
- Criminal harassment
- Sexual assault
- Breaking and entering
- Online/internet safety
- Staying safe on campus and outside your home
- Emotional safety planning and self-care
Safety planning is an active process, and so, depending on your situation, your plan may need to be reviewed or changed. If you have any questions or would like to review your safety concerns or needs, do not hesitate to reach out.
Additional information about preparing an emergency plan can be found here.
