Vice-President (Advancement) Search – Fall 2026
Carleton University will commence a search for a new Vice-President (Advancement) in accordance with the University’s approved Appointment Guidelines.
The Vice-President (Advancement) is appointed by the Board of Governors on the recommendation of an Advisory Committee, which is established to support the search process and provide a recommendation to the President and Board.
Advisory Committee Composition:
As outlined in the Appointment Guidelines for the Vice-President (Advancement), the Advisory Committee will include representation from across the University community, including:
-One full-time academic staff member holding the rank of Full Professor, elected by Senate
-One undergraduate student, elected by Senate
-One graduate student, elected by Senate
To support this process, nomination forms have been created for each constituency:

- Student Representatives Nomination Form (Closed)
Please note that the deadline for submissions was May 15, and the nomination window is now closed.
Elections for these positions took place on May 19 – 20.
