Join us for an exciting event during Frosh Week at CU@Night: “Black on Film” with Kasai Major Browne! This special Fall Orientation Film Workshop, presented in collaboration with UMOJA, offers a unique opportunity to dive into the world of filmmaking.

Local filmmaker Kasai Major Browne will guide you through the essentials of using cameras, crafting compelling stories, and sharing his wealth of experience in the film industry. Whether you’re an aspiring filmmaker or just curious about the art of storytelling, this workshop is perfect for you.

Enjoy delicious Nigerian snacks as you learn and create. The event will be held in Location TB342, where we’ll embark on the exciting journey of making a short video together. There will be a chance for networking. This collaborative project will be showcased at the end of the workshop on instagram, highlighting our creativity and the hard work of everyone involved.

This event aims to provide incoming students with engaging activities that foster new friendships and equip them with skills essential for university life. Especially for black students who are looking to foster new friendships. Don’t miss this chance to connect, learn, and create with UMOJA and Kasai Major Browne. We look forward to seeing you there!

*Note: This event is exclusively available to first year students registered with Fall Orientation
