- In-person event
- Ollie’s – 1st Floor , Nideyinàn , Carleton University
- 1125 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, ON, K1S 5B6
The Sociology & Anthropology Student Association is hosting an event with the undertones of teaching about consent and allowing those with varying levels of social battery to participate in the event without fear of their boundaries being overstepped. For Carleton students who are 19+.
There will be Karaoke and activities, and three different colours of glow stick necklaces: red, yellow, and green, will be provided!
The colours of consent will come into play through the guest’s use of the coloured glow sticks regalia and will be advertised and coded as follows:
Red = do not approach me; I’m just here to vibe
Yellow = approach and ask if I feel up to chatting or interacting; I want to vibe with others, just not all the time
Green = open to being approached at all times; I’m here to vibe with everyone!
