Additional Transition Support Resources

Fall Orientation

Fall Orientation is a week of engaging programming for new students designed and hosted by the Student Experience Office in conjunction with our campus partners and student groups including CUSA, RRRA, SBSS, and SciSoc . By participating in Fall Orientation, undergraduate students will have the ability to become familiar with the Carleton community and participate in exciting activities. Fall Orientation provides for a successful transition into university and fosters new relationships among participants before the start of classes. Participants will benefit from meeting and interacting with student volunteers who can guide first-year undergraduate students in the right direction based on their experiences. For more information and to register, click here.

First Year Connections

The first few weeks of university are filled with lots of exciting and new opportunities. Mentors are helpful in navigating all the new information. Connecting with a Peer Mentor means you will have someone to answer your questions, connect you with campus resources, help you learn more about your program, and show you how to get involved on campus. FYC Peer Mentors are trained in providing great resources and support for first-year students and help you achieve a great start here at Carleton. For more information and to sign up for a mentor, click here.
