Academic Advising Centre

The Academic Advising Centre’s (AAC) primary focus is to support undergraduate and special students in achieving academic success. The AAC offers walk-in advising sessions for students who are experiencing academic difficulty, need assistance understanding their academic audit, want to ensure they are fulfilling their degree program’s academic requirements or have been placed on Academic Warning.

Accessibility Institute

The Accessibility Institute continues Carleton University’s commitment to advancing accessibility across disciplines and sectors towards a world that is fully inclusive and accessible for all, starting with people with disabilities. They bring together expertise, resources and leadership into collaborations with individuals and organizations on various initiatives.

Admissions Services

Admissions Services provides support to prospective Carleton undergraduates throughout the admissions process. They are responsible for processing applications from around the world and admitting students to Carleton’s undergraduate degrees.

Attendant Services

Attendant Services provides personal care services 24 hours per day, 12 months per year to students with disabilities living in residence, which enables them to live on campus with the proper supports.

Awards and Financial Aid

The Awards and Financial Aid office administers various financial aid and awards programs to reward academic achievement and to provide financial assistance. The office is responsible for the administration of undergraduate scholarships (entrance and prestige), bursary and work-study programs.

Career Services

Career Services is Carleton University’s on-campus centre for career development and exploration, employment preparation, and the primary place to find experiential learning opportunities for all current students and alumni.

Centre for Student Academic Support

The Centre for Student Academic Support (CSAS) is a centralized collection of learning support services designed to help students achieve their goals and improve their learning both inside and outside the classroom. Conference Services

Conference Services provides great value facilities, accommodations and meals for conferences, schools, tour groups and individuals, and can also provide full services in helping to plan these events.

Co-operative Education

Carleton’s Co-operative Education Program is an excellent way for students to get a head start on building their career. Through co-op, students develop key employability skills, create a network of industry professionals, and gain valuable, degree-related work experience.

Dining Services

Dining Services is passionate about delivering real food and real choice across our campus. They oversee more than 30 restaurants on campus including retail locations and the university’s showpiece dining experience, the Teraanga Commons Dining Hall. Their focus is on developing local partnerships in all elements of the dining experience and providing a sustainable experience to our community.

The From Intention to Action (FITA) program supports undergraduate and graduate students in the often stressful university experience. They help students to better manage stress and improve their academic performance, adjusting to their lifestyle in a healthy way.

Health and Counselling Services

Health and Counselling Services (HCS) offers medical services to students. Their medical professionals provide both specialized services, as well as basic medical and walk-in services. This team also offers short-term individual counselling, as well as group counselling, for students to support their mental health and wellness, with some counsellors offering areas of specialization.
