As the end of the winter term approaches and the exam period draws near, there are many resources available to help you academically and beyond.
As a reminder, the final exam period takes place from Saturday, April 13 to Thursday, April 25, 2024. Examinations are normally held all seven days of the week.
Wellness Resources
Exam season can be stressful, and it is important we care for ourselves and our mental health while pursuing our academic goals. Our Mental Health and Wellness website has information and resources to help understand, manage and improve your mental health and wellness while at university. If you are not sure where to start, try our Wellness Service Navigator, which is designed to help you curate a list of mental health and wellness resources based on your unique circumstances.
The Wellness Desk in 204A MacOdrum Library is a space for students to learn about resources, connect with our Wellness Coordinator, and decompress during stressful times of the year. You can pop into the Wellness Desk any time during its hours of operation – no appointments necessary! You can chat with the team about what areas you need support on, explore resources, and walk away with services and/or resources to better support you.
Academic Support from CSAS
The Centre for Student Academic Support (CSAS) offers a variety of services to help support you in your studies throughout the end of term.
To work on finding strategies that can help you prioritize and plan out all of your end of term academic tasks, book a one-on-one Learning Support Session.
To work through any writing-related challenges you may be experiencing with your assignments, book a one-on-one Writing Consultation Session. Please note that in order to avoid Academic Integrity violations, questions about exams, including take-home exams, should be directed to your professor or teaching assistant.
Put your knowledge to the test by attending a Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) mock final exam review session. Visit the PASS website to see if your course has a mock final and view the schedule.
Students seeking additional academic support can access CSAS’ variety of online resources by visiting the Online Resources page.
