Students can complete the TIM program in as fast as 4 terms (16 months). TIM courses run through the Fall, Winter and Summer terms. Some students choose to take a break in the summer, however, the program must be completed within 2 years.
The TIM program designates the summer term as a regularly scheduled break. Therefore, international graduate students will maintain registration for immigration purposes as long as they resume full-time studies in September.

The TIM courses are designed to be attended in-person in an informal, face-to-face university setting.
However, the TIM program is fully equipped to deliver the courses online to students all over the world. This means that students participate in the same way, no matter where you are in the world. Due to study permit delays, it is common for students to being their studies from outside Canada and join us “in person” in their second or third term.
Many of our instructors hold online office hours specifically for students that are attending remotely.
