What’s the difference between cloud and local storage?
Local recordings are stored internally to your computer’s hard drive space, whereas cloud recordings are stored externally. Recordings stored within the Zoom cloud are automatically deleted after 120 days, however these recordings are automatically uploaded to the host’s Mediaspace account. Mediaspace recordings can be embedded into a course page in Brightspace and are deleted 4 years after their last view.
We recommend recording to the cloud to prevent loss of content, and ease sharing recordings with others.
