Carleton has implemented a campus-wide enterprise license for Zoom. Zoom Accounts are available for everyone in the Carleton community. An account is not required to join some meetings, however, if you are planning to host a meeting or participate in a class, you will need a Carleton Zoom account. Follow these steps to access your Carleton Zoom account. If you are having trouble with your MC1 credentials, please contact the ITS Servce Desk.

→If you are having issues accessing your pro Zoom account, please open a request with Carleton’s Zoom Support.

NOTE: Zoom licenses are only available for individual email accounts, not group accounts.

Account Provisioning for TAs

Teaching Assistants can use Zoom in Brightspace to host tutorial sessions or to assist with moderating instructor Zoom sessions. All Teaching Assistants can be automatically provisioned Zoom Pro Licenses through Brightspace. When an individual is assigned a TA role in a Brightspace course, the TA will be automatically given a Carleton Account License the first time they access Zoom in the course. The Zoom integration with Brightspace allows TAs and Instructors to set up, schedule, join, and launch meetings from within the Brightspace learning environment.

→For instructions, see TA Zoom License Provisioning.
