Campus Safety Services has now partnered with Crime Stoppers to promote Ottawa’s first bicycle registry program through Ottawa Police: 529 Garage.
529 Garage is a bicycle registration program that connects bike riders with each other with the common goal of preventing and addressing bicycle thefts. For more information please view 529 Garage’s website here.

Campus Safety Services has partnered with Crime Stoppers and Carleton’s Energy and Sustainability group to hold an event to promote cycling, bicycle theft prevention, and registration on the 529 Garage app. This event takes place on Thursday June 6th from 11 am to 1 pm outside of the Architecture main entrance. The event will be for Carleton’s staff and faculty only. The goal of this session will be to educate and register as many staff and faculty members as possible. No registration required.
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE: Please go online at the link below and register your bicycle with 529 Garage to expedite the process. When you arrive all we will need to do will be to apply the Shield and register your unique number with your account.
**You must bring your bicycle to receive a 529 Shield.
