Account balances should be paid in full by the posted deadlines. Payments received after the posted deadlines are subject to late fees and interest charges. Overdue accounts are subject to financial holds that will prevent future registration and access to academic records.

OSAP Payment Deferral
If you are receiving funding from a government student aid program such as OSAP, you may qualify for the payment deferral. For more information, you should visit ‘Paying your fees with OSAP‘ on the Awards and Financial Aid’s website.

Deferral Conditions for Out-of-Province Students
If you are receiving funding from a Canadian government student aid program other than Ontario’s, you should contact Awards and Financial Aid prior to the term payment deadline to request a deferral.
Deferral Conditions for International Students
If you are receiving funding from a government student aid program other than from Canada, you should contact student_accounts@carleton.ca prior to the term payment deadline to request a deferral. Please provide your government disbursement schedule and your loan amount in your communication to Student Accounts.
