I was truly chuffed the other day when a group of students from our History & Theory of Architecture program came to me with the idea of producing an original HTA sweater. I think it’s a fabulous idea, so I wanted to share what two of them subsequently wrote to me, and encourage everyone to join the party:

This year, for the very first time, we have decided it would be a great opportunity to design sweaters representing our program.

We are very excited to show off our HTA pride around campus and hope you will join us!

In order to reach the most of you, we have created a Facebook group that is dedicated to all History and Theory of Architecture students. In this group you will find 2 surveys that will help us determine the number of students interested in purchasing a sweater, and the overall preferred design by students.

We ask that you take a minute to join the group and vote on each of the polls so that we can get the most accurate estimate of students interested and order the correct amount of sweaters.

As it stands, the estimated price of each sweater should average between 30-35$, however the prices will decrease as the order amount increases!

We will be posting updates in the Facebook group so make sure you stay informed!

If you have any questions feel free to post in the group as well.

Your fellow HTA piers,

Seena & Elise”

Gotta love that pun on ‘piers’…

Below are the proposed designs; I hope people will chime in with their thoughts and I’m really looking forward to seeing the final product!
