HTA Podcast: Sensing Architecture, Part 2

How do you experience architecture if you can’t see it? In Part 2 of my conversation with Alex Bulmer, we visit St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in downtown Toronto. It was Alex’s first time in the building, and I followed her as she explored the space with her cane, her ears, her nose, her feet and her fingertips.

The building reveals itself gradually – one footstep, one echo, one touch, one texture, one scent at a time. Walk with Alex as she transforms this unknown space into a place of clarity, beauty and joy.
