Carleton Art History Undergraduate Society (aka. CAHUS)

The Carleton Art History Undergraduate Society (aka. CAHUS) is committed to bringing together Art History and History and Theory of Architecture undergraduate students at Carleton University to form an engaging and culturally rich community. The society hopes to provide a forum to connect like-minded people and encourage networking opportunities with fellow students and faculty. The society strives to provide students with opportunities to gain experience that will benefit their future endeavours, through art-related events and collaborations.

If you are an undergraduate student in the Art History or History and Theory of Architecture programs, consider joining as an Executive Member or a General Member! CAHUS is an accredited club/society at Carleton, and therefore you can add your involvement in the society to your Co-Curricular Record (CCR), as well as your CV.

Past events include: Art History trivia nights at James St. Pub, Polytectures Ottawa Sound Walk hosted by Artengine, visits to the National Gallery of Canada to see the Governor General’s Awards in Visual and Media Arts, Art Parties in collaboration with the Carleton University Art Gallery (CUAG) and the Visual Arts Club, and more.
