Professor emerita Elizabeth (Bessa) Whitmore — who teaches the capstone seminar for the B.PAPM specialization in Development Studies — is the co-editor of a new volume examining how “success” is understood and measured in social justice and environmental activism. Activism That Works looks at eight different social justice organizations, including Oxfam Canada and Calgary’s Raging Grannies. The book is available through www.fernwoodpublishing.ca
