2012 B.PAPM graduate Raphaël Guévin-Nicoloff has been awarded a Fulbright fellowship to pursue his Master’s degree in International Relations at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University. Though the main campus of Johns Hopkins is in Baltimore, the School of Advanced International Studies is located in Washington, D.C.
Raphaël chose Johns Hopkins because it will allow him to specialize in International Economics, Canadian Studies and American Foreign Policy.
“Washington D.C. will be an excellent venue to explore the rise in provincial and state involvement in the foreign policies of both Canada and the United States,” he says, “and ultimately I intend to assess the impact of this phenomenon on Canada-US relations.”
A former House of Commons Page, Raphaël was also selected for an Ontario Graduate Scholarship, which he will decline in order to take the Fulbright.
