Judge for the BPAPM Case Competition

Public Policy has long been a focus for Dong. He graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor’s of Management specializing in Public Sector Management in 2020. Following his Bachelor’s, Dong enrolled in Carleton’s School of Public Policy and Administration where he obtained a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration in 2022. While at Carleton, Dong was a member of Carleton’s Gold Medal winning team at the 2022 Canadian Association of Programs in Public Administration Policy Case Competition. He has spent the past two years coaching Carleton’s team at the competition.

Dong is currently a policy analyst with the Federal Public Service. He has worked for Transport Canada, the Privy Council Office and Canadian Heritage where he is currently employed. At Canadian Heritage, Dong has gotten the opportunity to work on a number of key files including the Online Harms Act and Online News Act.
