In this interview, Dr Petra Bendel, Academic Director of the Centre for Area Studies at Erlangen-Nuremberg University, discusses the recently adopted Common European Asylum System in terms of its implications for asylum-seekers and EU member-states, as well as its lessons for Canadian migration and asylum policy.
